Comfort One Systems carries a full line of replacement regulators, hoses and fittings to fit every gas grill. Pre 1996 gas grills used a reverse thread tank connection fitting (P.O.L) which had to be tightened to the LP tank with a wrench. Some of these fittings were later surrounded by a plastic handwheel for tightening but the thread was still backwards. Post 1996 grills use the new "TYPE 1" fitting which has a large black plastic connector with Large thread. These fittings tighten in the normal direction and do not need a wrench for tightening. It is very important that you order the correct replacement for your grill. The tanks were changed in 1996 also and were made backward compatible which means you can use a new tank on an old grill but you cannot use a new grill (or fitting) with an old tank. Adapters are available on this page to convert your old style tank for use with your newer grill.
